Short, blunt terms beat theatrical ones. Read slowly if you are about to reprint something.
Link, quote, argue. Do not use quotes to claim an endorsement, a partnership, or a certification. Do not present lightly edited text as a collaboration when it was a citation. The journal is not a credentials bureau.
